That's right, tomorrow I trek off again for another 4,500+ mile journey around the United States. So far this summer I've logged over 20,000 miles traveling. Bring on another 5k!
If you are anywhere between Massachusetts and Colorado along I-90, I-71, I-70, or I-80, I would LOVE to see you in the next few weeks as I'm traveling through. Please, hit me up and let me know where you are!
Tomorrow night I'll be in Columbus, Ohio. After that, somewhere in Missouri. Good times indeed!
I am still working on writing my account from South Korea and I will certainly share it as soon as it is finished. There is so much to tell about my time there I'm not sure where to start. (Which is a slight problem.)
Please keep me and my upcoming travels in your prayers. Especially my little car. She's been a good one but she's starting to get a little old so sometimes I worry a little. :)
Also, and more important than remembering me in your prayers, please remember the Hughston and Lahey Families in your prayers.
Today was the funeral service for a friend I went to high school with, Mrs. Mindy Lahey-Hughston. She married a junior high classmate of mine toward the end of high school and not long after giving birth to their daughter, Madison, she was diagnosed with cancer. This week Mindy fell asleep in the Lord. She was 23.
Here she is with her husband and beautiful little girl.
Mindy had a resilient spirit and a dynamic faith. She has been an inspiration to more than she will ever know.
I pray that her memory will be eternal in the eyes of the Lord and that she is in a place where there is no pain, sorrow or sighing, but life-everlasting!
Αἰωνία ἡ μνήμη!
Mindy Lahey Hughston
