The Adventure Continues

Well, today we closed out our 2nd and final session of CrossRoad 2010! While it is sad to see the students leave, it marks the continuation of my own journey of life in pursuit of the Cross. I've learned much about myself, my gifts, talents, and even my weaknesses over the last 4 weeks (and last 8 months in general.) To God be the Glory for each and every moment and lesson I've entered into.

The July 2010 CR Crew

I have 36 more hours in Boston until I head to Denver on Sunday morning. I am blessed and looking forward to serving as the Program Directer for Vacation Church School at the cathedral next week.

Following VCS, I leave for South Korea one week from today. I am anxiously looking foward to the work I get to take part in over the next several week as I travel and share the love and hope of Christ!

Someone once wisely said that the cross is a difficult privilege. I could not agree more wholeheartedly! Denying oneself in pursuit of Christ  is anything but easy. Even though the suffering may be great as we travel the road of the Cross, the joy is always greater!

Life is such a beautiful gift we are given, and I am--though continually falling short--choosing to give my life to Him.. May we each be more authentically human as we answer Christ's call to love God and our neighbor with all of our heart, mind, soul, and strength! To God be the Glory!
