Rain Rain Go Away!

It has been raining for 2 STRAIGHT days! I never quite knew it could rain like this before I moved to New England. Gessh. I am certainly over the rain!
The streets everywhere are flooding.

On my way to Church this morning, I was driving down Rt. 9 by Chesnut Hill Mall and hit a puddle that splashed up as high as my car on both sides only to have water get on things it shouldn't have. (I think it was a battery something.) My battery light came on and my airbag light started flashing. I was a little freaked out but I had two male seminarians with me and the one in the front said he thought everything would be okay. After pulling off, I got back on the highway and thankfully we made it there safely.

At any rate, I made it back from the retreat in Connecticut yesterday. It was a great time and I am pretty happy with my presentation and activities that I put together but boy am I pooped! Losing an hour of sleep last night didn't help that, but I am SO glad to have extended hours of sunlight now! (WOOOHooo, Spring & Summer are certainly on their way!!)

AFter making it back to Boston yesterday I had to make a Target run. While I hadn't planned on buying pens, I came across these...

SHARPIE PENS!!

Maybe I'm just late to the game, but these were new to me! I love the 0.45 MICRON Pens but they are a little more expensive. When I saw that these pens by Sharpie have a point just as fine, are made for everyday writing, AND won't bleed through paper, I was SOLD!

And sure enough, they haven't disappointed! (Well, at least in the last 24 hours!) :)
